45 years old Sufiya Khatoon, wife of late Ain-ul-haq lives in village Ranchi, Jharkhand. She is a single mother of three children- two boys and a girl. Some years back her husband died in a tragedy.
Family’s poor economic condition forced Tanveer, the elder son to work in car garage leaving aside his studies to earn for the livelihood of his family.
The marriage of his 32 years old sister Kulsoom, was on his shoulders. It was a moment of dismay and confusion, and Soochna Seva emerged out as a helping hand. Sufiya and Tanveer visited the Soochna Seva center, Sufiya was informed about the widow pension scheme and various schemes her children could avail.
Tanveer after being informed got his younger brother Tauseef registered at the centre. They were informed about Ujjawala Pension scheme and their documentation and application was carried forward.
Sufiya’s widow pension form have also been filled by Soochna seva team for further financial relief from the government.
