Devnandan Mahto is a resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand, and a father of four sons, all of whom are married. He used to lead a simple life with no qualms or worries until recently.
“Until July 2015, I used to receive a monthly pension regularly in my account but then it stopped all of a sudden!” a visibly shaken and frustated Devnandan said. Despite making several visits and pleas to the bank manager, he would be sent back without any possible solution.
Devnandan’s worriless days, however, returned once he met with the local Soochna Seva team.. After having told his entire story, the Soochna Seva team took the responsibility of helping this poor man.
“They clicked my photo, wrote an application on my behalf and asked me to sign it,” he said and continued with excitement, “Soochna Seva remained committed to my case after submitting the application at the block office. They also assured me of receiving all the government benefits I was eligible for.”
