On 8th March 2016, Soochna Seva has commemorated ‘International Women’s Day’ at all its Soochna Seva kendras. A range of activities have taken place at various target locations such as aaganwadi centres, primary health centres (PHC), community health centre (CHC), government schools and Gram choupal. Likewise these activities have been conducted with diverse audience such as students, school principal, aaganwadi worker, ASHA workers, self-help group (SHG) members, villagers and Pradhan.
Moreover the team has launched the day long campaign on social media platform in order to engage more people by sharing the activities, as well as cases stories of Soochna seva project related to women empowerment. We will strive to continue our best efforts in the forthcoming months to engage more and more people by empowering them so that they too can empower others.
