Khubchand Prajapati is a small scale farmer. He has been living in Dehari Kalan village since childhood. He and his family depend entirely on farming. He keeps all his agriculture equipment at field. One day while working a fire broke out in his field and engulfed everything. Since he was alone, he could not control the fire. As a result, his pipes which were approximately 150 in numbers were destroyed. They were used to irrigate the field.
On May 12, 2015 Kaluram Prajapati son of Khoobchand Prajapati visited the Soochna Seva Kendra in Aron block and narrated the incident. The team paid a visit to the field and took photographs. After that they reported the matter to Pawandihaat Police Station. On May 19, 2015 one of the Soochna Sevaks took the matter to the Tehasildar. On the advice of Tehasildar, Soochna Sevak contacted Patwari (gram sabha representative) and reported the case.
Patwari listened to the situation and promised that the survey about the damage will be undertaken and accordingly Khubchand will receive compensation. Patwari undertook the survey on May 23, 2015.
