Soochna Seva team aims to reach out to maximum number of people who are devoid of information about various government schemes and services. They do not restrict themselves to the task of only spreading awareness but also help people in availing the benefits such as filling up forms accurately and connecting them to the right department. In order to achieve this goal, the team conducts door-to-door visit in several villages.
Likewise, the Soochna Seva team from Tehri Garhwal visited Dabri village in Thauldhar block. There, the team met Ramchandra Singh and explained him about various schemes and policies that the government has issued for the benefits of citizens such as Old Age Pension, Kisan Pension, Widow Pension, Disability Pension etc.
During the discussion, Ramchandra Singh mentioned that his only son Ramesh Singh is 75 percent disable and is eligible for Viklang Pension. The team member immediately helped ramchandra to fill the form and asked him for other required documents such as disability certificate, identification proof, BPL card etc. Ramchandra handed over all the documents to the Soochna Sevak and hoped that the application process will be complete without any hassle.
Ramchandra Singh thanked the Soochna Seva team for sharing the information and helping him to commence the process of availing it for his on.
